WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
Parking can be challenging in Laguna Beach. Please park in an area that allows for more than 3 or 4 hours, or in an all-day parking lot. There are several all-day lots in the area: One lot is across the street from the Pagent of the Masters on Laguna Canyon Road (Hwy 133) & Forest Avenue. Lot prices are subject to change seasonally.
Is it customary to tip on a tour?
Tipping is customary in the industry, but of course it is not mandatory. First and foremost we want you to have a great time! Tipping is a way to show that the tour guide did a great job and that you enjoyed the tour. Tips are always very much appreciated!
How should I dress for the tour?
This is a casual tour! Please dress comfortably, use sunscreen, and on cooler days we recommend a light jacket or sweater
How long do the tours last?
The length of the tour will be 3 to 3 1/2 hours.
How much walking will we be doing?
We suggest comfortable walking shoes, although our pace is easy and relaxed. The entire tour will cover about one mile in the downtown area.
How many people can attend a tour?
The maximum number of guests per tour is generally limited to 12, except for group tours. All reservations MUST be made in advance and are subject to availability.
Can I book a private tour?
Absolutely! We encourage private tours and welcome them. Generally the minimum requirement for a private tour is 6-8 guests. However we will try to accommodate every situation, if possible. If you are interested in a private tour, please email us at email@example.com or call us at 949.371.6211.
Will the tour take place if it rains?
The tours will take place if there is light to moderate drizzle. If rain is heavy, tours will be rescheduled. You will be notified of any cancellations via email, text, or phone call.
How much food is served on the tours?
Food tastings vary. Tastings are generally smaller portions. We occasionally make changes to our tours, but they typically consist of about 5-6 tastings.
Are the foods on the tour appropriate for children?
Many children love the tours, as there are lots to see and try. We aim to please the little ones as well! A word to the wise...The streets in Laguna Beach are somewhat smaller than the norm, and can be very busy and congested. We will be crossing one of the busiest streets on the West Coast, Pacific Coast Highway. If you bring a child, you are solely responsible for their supervision. Savor Laguna shall not be held liable for any accidents or injuries while on the tours. Please watch your step and keep you little ones close at all times.
What restaurants will we visit on the tour?
The restaurants we visit are subject to change.
Will beverages be served on the tour?
Bottled water is provided for our guests at the start of the tour. For legal reasons, Savor Laguna does not provide alcohol. However, we will stop at one or two locations where you have an option to purchase a cocktail solely at your discretion.
Are there any restroom breaks during the tours?
There are restrooms located at various locations on the tours. We suggest using the restroom prior to the tours to avoid interruptions.
What if I have dietary restrictions or food allergies?
Please advise us in advance, when you make your reservations, if anyone in your group has dietary restrictions, i.e. vegetarian, diabetic, gluten-free, etc. As long as we know well in advance, we will do our best to accommodate special needs. Are any of your walking tours wheelchair and/or stroller accessible?
While we would love to accommodate all of our guests wheelchairs and strollers are not recommended on our tours due to the many narrow city sidewalks, certain staircases that we use when entering establishments, and the very small shops that we visit. However, if you still wish to participate and bring strollers, we suggest a small stroller, which is easier to fold and store. Please keep in mind that at some stops you will have to remove your child from the stroller to carry him/her, or have them walk.

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Can I pay cash?
Due to the arrangements and planning necessary for each tour, all tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets can be purchased on our booking pages via the calendars or by calling us direct at 949.371.7211. Tours often sell our quickly!
We booked the tour at a discount and those prices are no longer available. Can I still get that discount or perhaps show up on a tour?
At Savor Laguna, we strive to please our guests and offer discounts whenever possible. The discounts we offer are time-limited and always subject to change depending on the season and/or special event. We cannot price match or honor discounts that you may have found in the past, due to our booking numbers, but we will do our best to accommodate. Please do not "show up" on the tour without making prior reservations, after purchasing your tickets.
Are tours offered only in English?
The tours are conducted only in English at this time.
Will I receive a refund if my plans change?
You may cancel and reschedule up to one week prior to the tour. This allows us time to fill your spot. Please keep in mind that if you choose to do this, we can only place you on a tour that is not yet sold out, which may be weeks away. After you purchase your tickets and make a reservation we guarantee your space, therefore we do not issue refunds for any cancellations less than 7 days prior to the tour.
May I bring my dog/pet on the tour?
We understand your furry pet would love the tasting; however, please do not bring your pet on the tour as it may take away from the experience for yourself and others. Service dogs are welcome.
Do your tours have anything to offer a native Californian?
Definitely! While our out-of-town guest love our tours, many of our attendees live in California. To date, approximately 50% of our guests are from Orange County and surrounding areas.
